“ I only recently learned about Jacks BBQ. What a great place! The food and service were both great. My husband got a huge plate of meat. I dont remember what it was called but he loved it. I had a small wedge salad. It was hard to cut and eat it out of the small bowl because it was so full, but it was fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back again sometime. ”

“ Well everything started out real good. They even showed us the errors of our ways of finding the brunch menu. However, after the food was served we got very limited support from the servers. One example when I went to get my coffee refilled one of the waitresses from another table gave us eye contact with my cup held high but declined to even go get our server. I am keto or at least low carb in my dietary leanings. Little or no nutritional value is displayed on the menus. I should have ordered the same thing my nephew had as it would have been much lower in carb. Then replace the french fries with a steamed vegetable if possible. This has been something Ive done in many places and in many restaurants to lower the carb impact. This forced me to take the nuclear option and contact the manager where both me and my nephew relayed the experience of this meal. One last thing we did knowingly was not to provide a tip. Tip is To insure proper service. Lastly, I will try this restaurant one more time at a later time. If the service doesnt change then Ill have to go elsewhere to eat. ”

“ I ordered the Texas trinity bbq plate with the two sides, cornbread and mac n cheese. The Mac N Cheese was a bit dried. However, my bbq short ribs and brisket was delicious, every bite was tasty and tender. You can tell the meat was smoked and the rub on the meat was nice and crispy. If youre ever in Algona, Wa stop by this spot if you want some good old fashioned bbq food. I highly recommend this spot ! I called in my order, the young lady who answered was very professional and she understood everything I was asking for. Overall, the food and service were amazing! ”
